Overview
The Three Capes Track on the Tasman Peninsula is one of Australia's newest and most dramatic coastal hikes, with dolerite sea cliffs rising 300 metres from the Tasman Sea as the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere. The 46-kilometre route passes Cape Raoul, Cape Pillar, and Cape Hauy in a four-day journey through old-growth eucalyptus forest and bare dolerite headlands with nesting white-bellied sea eagles. Stylish private huts replace standard bushwalking camps.
