Overview

Ski tour the Sierra Nevada in Andalucia — southern Europe's southernmost ski mountaineering terrain, with Mulhacen (3,479 m) as the highest peak in mainland Spain — across a mountain range from which, on the clearest days, you can see the Mediterranean and the Rif mountains of Morocco beyond it. The combination of Granada's culture, the Alhambra palace, and alpine skiing makes this the most culturally rich ski destination in Europe. Spring ski touring gives access to the full extent of the range above the resort boundary. Sea-level Mediterranean coastline is 40 km from the summit.
