Overview
The Via Dinarica is a 1200-kilometre trail through the Dinaric Alps connecting Slovenia to Albania through some of the most undervisited mountain terrain in Europe. Durmitor National Park in Montenegro, the Prokletije Albanian Alps, and the Sutjeska primeval forest in Bosnia provide wilderness of exceptional quality. The trail passes through landscapes that bore witness to the most brutal theatre of WWII partisan warfare and 1990s conflict.
