Overview
The Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt is ski touring's most celebrated traverse, crossing eleven high passes and seven glaciers between Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. A week of glacier travel, crevasse navigation, and high mountain hut overnights delivers the grand sweep of the Western Alps in winter.
