Overview
The Tre Cime di Lavaredo are the three most famous rock pinnacles in the Alps, 2,999 metres of dolomite rising sheer from the Misurina plateau in a formation that has defined mountain photography since the 19th century. The classic circuit trail 101 loops the three towers in 10 kilometres with 500 metres of ascent, while the Innerkofler via ferrata allows the adventurous to traverse the saddle between two towers on fixed cables. The north faces are the holy grail of Alpine big wall climbing.
