Overview
East Greenland from Tasiilaq is the least-visited and most dramatic part of Greenland, with helicopter-accessed ski touring on uncharted peaks rising from the Sermilik Fjord above floating icebergs calved from the Greenland Ice Sheet. The Schweizerland Alps area above Tasiilaq has 50-plus unclimbed peaks between 2,000 and 3,000 metres waiting for first ascents. The combination of remote Arctic wilderness, exceptional ski terrain, and calving glacier acoustic backdrop makes this truly frontier skiing.
