Overview
The Tour du Mont Blanc is the iconic 170-kilometre circuit around western Europe's highest massif, passing through France, Italy, and Switzerland in a continuous high-mountain loop. The route crosses eleven major passes and gains over 10,000 metres of total elevation, passing through Chamonix, Courmayeur, and Champex. The annual UTMB race follows this route, but the classic 10-day walking version allows full immersion in alpine culture.
