Overview
The GR11 traverses the entire Spanish side of the Pyrenees from Cabo Higuer on the Bay of Biscay to Cap de Creus on the Mediterranean — 800 km through the Spanish national parks of Ordesa, Aigüestortes, and Cadí, staying almost entirely in Spain rather than the mixed-country approach of the Haute Route. The GR11 is well-marked, well-serviced with refugios, and follows the valley floors and passes in approximately equal measure. A classic European long trail.
