Málaga · Spain
El Caminito del Rey (The King's Little Path) is a 7.7 km walkway pinned along the vertical walls of the Málaga gorges of El Chorro — originally built for hydroelectric workers in 1905 and restored in 2015 after years of closure following fatal accidents. The route traverses two gorges — Desfiladero de los Gaitanes and Desfiladero de Gaitanejo — on a 1 m-wide pathway with sheer drops below and the rock face inches from your shoulder. Book online; it sells out.
