The Cotswold Way is 164 km from Chipping Campden to Bath along the western escarpment of the Cotswolds, passing honey-stone villages built from local oolitic limestone, Iron Age hill forts, beech-wood ridge paths, and the spectacular Cleeve Hill and Haresfield Beacon. It is quintessential English long-distance walking — gentle enough for beginners, varied enough to satisfy experienced walkers, and finishable with a Roman bath and a gin and tonic.
