Overview
Trek the Anti-Atlas Mountains between Tafraoute and Siroua — less visited and more rugged than the High Atlas, a landscape of pink granite boulders, argan orchards, ancient fortified villages (ksours), and rose-terraced hillsides overlooked by Jebel Siroua (3,304 m) at the region's highest point. The area south of Agadir is one of Morocco's best-kept trekking secrets; mule tracks between Amazigh Berber villages have been walked for centuries. The route can be extended into the Draa Valley and Saharan edge below.
