Overview
Mount Kinabalu at 4095m is the highest peak between the Himalayas and New Guinea, a granite massif rising abruptly from the Borneo rainforest. The two-day summit route via Laban Rata rest house involves a pre-dawn scramble up fixed ropes on the Low's Gully rim to the summit plateau.
