Ferrol · Spain
The English Way or Camino Ingles was the route taken by medieval pilgrims arriving by sea from England and northern Europe at Ferrol or Corunna to walk the final 120 kilometres to Santiago de Compostela. The shorter distance makes this the ideal Camino for those with limited time, passing through the granite hills and eucalyptus forests of Galicia with the same stone-paved medieval roads and pilgrim hospedajes. The coastal variant from Pontevedra adds the Galician ria coastline.
