Rarotonga · Cook Islands
The Cook Islands in the South Pacific offer some of the world's finest sea kayaking in the protected lagoons of Aitutaki and Rarotonga, with visibility of 30 metres to the coral below and virtually no boat traffic. The uninhabited motu islets of Aitutaki lagoon can only be reached by paddle, and camping is permitted on some, allowing private tropical island experiences. The outer islands of Mangaia and Mitiaro offer rugged coastal exploration on traditional coral limestone makatea terrain.
