Overview
Ski tour through the Japanese Northern Alps (Hida Mountains) on the deep Hokuriku snowpack that buries mountain huts to their rooflines each winter. The traverse from Hakuba to Tateyama over the Shiro-uma massif and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route is one of Japan's great winter journeys.
