Overview
Sea kayaking the Antarctic Peninsula is one of the ultimate water-based adventure experiences, paddling among brash ice and sculpted icebergs while penguins porpoise beside the kayak and humpback whales surface ten metres away. Expedition ships carry kayaks and certified kayakers to the most spectacular locations, including Port Lockroy, the Lemaire Channel, and Neko Harbour, where glaciers calve directly into the bay. Antarctica at water level is completely unlike the view from the ship deck.
