Overview
The Dhaulagiri Circuit is one of Nepal's most challenging and least trekked routes, circling the 8167m seventh highest mountain through the French Pass at 5360m and the Dhampus Pass at 5260m. The route requires true expedition preparation with high altitude camping, glacier travel, and technical snow passages. The Japanese Couloir approach to Dhaulagiri base camp and the ice fall at French Pass are serious mountaineering terrain.
