Overview
The Mardi Himal trek is the newest and least-crowded trail in the Annapurna region, a ridge route offering continuous views of Machapuchare Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli from the High Camp at 4500m. The route through rhododendron forests and high alpine meadows takes five days and reaches closer to Machapuchare than any other trail, since the sacred peak is closed to all climbing.
