Overview
The Colca Canyon is twice the depth of the Grand Canyon and one of the world's deepest gorges, where Andean condors ride morning thermals at eye level from the Cruz del Condor viewpoint. The four-day canyon descent trek reaches the hot springs at the bottom and climbs through pre-Inca terraced agriculture still maintained by Collagua and Cabana communities in traditional dress. This is Peru's most visually spectacular trekking canyon.
