Overview
The Headhunters Trail follows the historic route that Iban head-hunting raiding parties used to travel between the Rejang and Baram river basins in Sarawak. The five-day jungle route connects Gunung Mulu National Park to the Medamit district through primary rainforest where proboscis monkeys, hornbills, and clouded leopards inhabit the canopy. Longhouse overnight stays with indigenous Iban families are the highlight.
