Overview
The Jomolhari Trek is Bhutan's most celebrated trekking route, approaching the sacred peak of Jomolhari at 7,326 metres along the Paro Chu river valley through yak pastures and rhododendron forests. The base camp at Jangothang at 4,080 metres offers the classic view of Jomolhari's ice pyramid rising above the Tibetan plateau. The trek continues over the Nyile La pass to the Chombu circuit, creating a seven-day loop through Bhutan's finest mountain scenery.
