Overview
The quartzite sandstone pillars of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Hunan province inspired the floating Hallelujah Mountains of Avatar, rising hundreds of metres from the forest floor in forms that defy geological comprehension. The Tianmen Mountain cable car is the world's longest passenger cable car at 7.5 kilometres, and the glass walkway clinging to the cliff at 1,400 metres tests nerves above the forest canopy. The Avatar Hallelujah Mountain floating walkways allow the full immersion in this alien landscape.
