Overview
The Fitz Roy massif in Los Glaciares National Park is one of the world's most dramatic mountain landscapes, with the granite towers of Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre rising sheer from the Patagonian steppe. The trek from El Chalten to Laguna de los Tres gains 800 metres to stand directly below the 3,359-metre needle at sunrise.
