Overview
Rolwaling is one of Nepal's most sacred and seldom-visited valleys, protected by its difficult access and restricted permit requirements. The 19-kilometre-long valley leads toward Tashi Lapcha pass at 5,755 metres, the classic route connecting to the Khumbu region. Dramatic peaks including Gauri Shankar and Menlungtse tower above the narrow gorge.
