Overview
The Annapurna Circuit is Nepal's great loop trek — 160–230 km depending on route variants — circling the Annapurna massif and crossing the Thorong La pass at 5,416 m. The diversity is the draw: subtropical jungle at 800 m gives way to Tibetan plateau landscapes at 4,000 m, passing the sacred Muktinath temple and the dramatic Kali Gandaki Gorge, the world's deepest. The tea-house network is excellent; the scenery is without parallel.
